Case Study

Corporate Communications

The brief

My client sought out my counsel during a time of potential turbulence within the organisation.

A change in strategy resulted in some internal people moves, and clear, consistent communications were required to ensure identified audiences were both:

  • informed in a timely and appropriate manner

  • bought into, and were excited about, the company’s new direction.

The work

I worked with key stakeholders to develop a suite of communication assets to ensure these objectives were met. This included:

  • Audience map to identify internal and external stakeholders

  • Communications cascade to ensure each audience group received the right level of information, at the right time

  • Key message document to ensure all stakeholders spoke with consistency and authenticity

  • Reactive and proactive press statements

  • Social media statements

  • Speech writing

  • 1:1 briefings with key stakeholders to problem solve and update materials as we moved through stages of communication.

The result

My client was able to rely on my counsel as a calm and rationale voice, and was confident that we were prepared with a response for any eventuality.

All key audiences felt informed and excited about the changes and future of the company. This in turn ensured productivity and morale were maintained during a time of change.
